HARTFORD, Vt. -

Two White River Junction men were in court Thursday, facing charges that they tried to intimidate another man by shooting into his bedroom last month.

Police say back in November, 19-year-old Joseph O'Keefe and 21-year-old David Devost fired multiple rounds into a Hartford Village home, narrowly missing their intended victim. Police say they were angry because the man had given police statements about recent crimes in the Hartford area.

O'Keefe is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and obstructing justice. Devost is charged with obstruction of justice. Both pleaded innocent. A third suspect is expected to be charged in the incident as well.
