MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Department of Labor says the state's unemployment rate for November has dropped three-tenths of a percent to 5.2 percent.
The figure was 5.5 percent in October.
The national unemployment rate for October was 7.7 percent, down two-tenths of a percent from October.
Seasonally adjusted data for November shows total employment increased by 500 last month while total unemployment increased by 800.
Unemployment in Vermont's 17 labor markets ranged from 3 percent in Hartford to 6.1 percent in Newport and Springfield.
