Moose causes three-car pileup

VERNON, Vt. -

A moose is to blame for a three-car pile up on Interstate 91 in Vernon.

State Police say the moose was killed after running onto the passing lane at 7 Sunday night.

A Ford Focus hit the animal first, then two more cars struck -- one of which flipped onto its roof. None of the drivers suffered major injuries.
