Gas prices fall slightly

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Gas prices around Burlington continue to fall slightly.

According to the online survey by Gasbuddy, average retail gas price in Burlington has fall 1.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.57 a gallon. Statewide the average is $3.51, much higher than the national average which stands at $3.24.

Prices this week in Vermont were 28 cents per gallon higher than the same week one year ago. Prices in Burlington are 14 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
