He's supposed to fight fires. But now he admits he set them inside his own home.
Firefighters were able to contain the smokey blaze to the kitchen area of the South Hero home earlier this month. But they quickly determined there were three points of origin, indicating arson.
A woman in the home was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
Investigators say another resident of the home, 20-year-old Owen Davies, has now admitted to starting the fire. He's a volunteer firefighter in South Hero.
