BURLINGTON, Vt. -

After an attempted robbery at a Burlington market Thursday night, police are on the hunt for a suspect. And he may be the same man who held up a nearby store on Christmas Eve.

Police say a short, stocky, white man told the clerk at Dot's on Archibald Street he had a weapon and demanded cash. The clerk hit the panic button and the robber took off and never showed the weapon. He didn't show his face either, though. It was covered with a black mask.

However, the man fits the description of a robber who hit the Willard Street Market Monday. Anyone with information is asked to call Burlington Police at 802-540-2267.
