Shooting death

JOHNSON, Vt. -

Police are investigating what appears to be a deadly gun accident in Lamoille County.

Police say 17-year-old Jacob Lehouillier was shot in the chest Friday at his home in Johnson. Lehouillier was transported to Copley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation revealed that Lehouillier's younger brother was attempting to clean a shotgun when it accidentally went off. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
