KILLINGTON, Vt. -
A busy weekend for rescuers in Killington.
A Connecticut man and his son are ok after skiing into the woods at Pico Mountain Saturday.
Police say the boy's father called 911 about 2 p.m., saying they skied into the woods off the Giant Killer trail and got lost. Search and rescue crews eventually located the pair shortly after 10 p.m., holed up in a snow cave they built.
Two other skiers from Maryland walked out of the woods Sunday at Pico after getting lost for four hours. That comes on top of Five out-of-bound skiers needing assistance on Friday.
