Police in South Burlington are hunting for a thief who they say threatened to pepper-spray store workers.
Police say just after 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sears at the University Mall reported they'd tried to catch a man who was caught on video stealing about $400 in jewelry. But they say the man threatened to use pepper spray on them.
The man then went to the parking lot and approached a silver sedan. He's described as a stocky white man, about 5'9" with a goatee.
