SHELBURNE, Vt. -

Vermont Teddy Bear announced the company's new president and CEO Wednesday.

Bill Shouldice is the former president and CEO of the Vermont Country Store, and he served as Vermont commerce secretary in Gov. Howard Dean's administration.

Vermont Teddy Bear's former CEO John Gilbert left the company this fall to head to the Midwest to run the Famous Dave's barbecue restaurant chain.
