RUTLAND, Vt. -
The Diamond Run Mall in Rutland has a new owner-- but who that is is unclear.
Documents filed with the town show the previous owner, Gemini Real Estate, has surrendered the property to its mortgage holder, a commercial mortgage-backed security trust. But since it's privately held, that information is not publicly available.
As for operation of the mall, the original developer, Zamias Services, reassumes that role with a goal of filling more than a dozen vacancies in the 52-store mall.
