A Vermont man pleaded guilty this week to embezzling from his employer in Massachusetts.
Kenneth Sigsbury, 52, of Pownal, was a production manager at Berkshire Anodizing in North Adams, Mass. Prosecutors say Sigsbury sold scrap metal for the company and pocketed some of the proceeds as cash, which he used to feed a prescription drug addiction.
Prosecutors say the theft amounted to $160,000 in about a year's time.
As part of a plea deal, Sigsbury was sentenced to a year in jail.
