CANAAN, N.H. (AP) - Two people are being treated for injuries after a pickup truck crashed through a store in the New Hampshire town of Canaan.
Police say a pickup truck was trying to turn into the Pleasant Valley Store Thursday morning when it collided with another pickup truck, pushing that vehicle into the store.
The truck came to rest inside the counter area of the store, causing extensive damage.
The driver - 42-year-old Donald Stapelfeld of Canaan - was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with minor injuries.
A store clerk also was taken to the hospital with back pain but was not hit by the truck or debris. The driver and passenger of the other truck were not injured.
The crash is being investigated.
