A botched robbery has landed a West Burke man behind bars.
Police say 23 year old Nathan Spencer was behind an attempted robbery at Aldrich's General Store in West Burke back in September. Police say Spencer was wielding a knife at the time. However, he fled the store on foot without cash after the clerk ran off alerting neighbors.
Police say a lengthy investigation lead to Spencer's arrest.
He's charged with attempted robbery, use of a deadly weapon while committing a crime and other charges.
