N.Y. troopers investigate roadside robbery

CHESTERFIELD, N.Y. -

New York State Police are investigating a roadside stick up.

Troopers say a young couple from Queens stopped along Route 22 in Chesterfield near exit 33 early Sunday morning. They claim five Hispanic males, some armed with handguns, pulled up behind them and then beat and robbed them.

The victims sustained minor injuries.

Police are looking for a dark colored SUV, possibly with Florida plates.

Investigators do not think this was a random act.
