ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) - St. Johnsbury is getting a new interim town manager.
The community has been without a full-time one since former manager Ralph Nelson was fired in April. No reason was given publicly.
The new interim manager is scheduled to start Monday - but it's not immediately clear who that person is.
Selectmen used Municipal Resources Inc., which covers New England and Pennsylvania, to screen applicants.
The Caledonian-Record reports selectmen selected seven finalists during a special meeting Thursday. They had received 39 applications.
