SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters remains the largest Vermont-based business with gross earnings more than double the second biggest business.
For the second straight year, Green Mountain Coffee tops the annual list from Vermont Business Magazine. The Waterbury company had revenues of over $3.85 billion in 2012-- a 45 percent increase over 2011.
National Life Group in Montpelier and Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington remain two and three on the list. Blue Cross-Blue Shield and UVM swapped the fourth and fifth positions from last year.
