David Brown
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -
A robbery suspect is behind bars, accused of holding up a Plattsburgh convenience store.
Police say just after 5 a.m. Wednesday, David Brown walked into the Stewart's store with his face covered by a bandana and displayed what appeared to be a handgun.
Police say the 49-year-old then fled with cash. But the clerk was able to get a license plate number, and police tracked Brown down at his Keeseville home.
Police say they are looking into the possibility that there may be a connection to other area robberies, but they have not verified any connection.
