Innocent plea from alleged sugarhouse burglar

POULTNEY, Vt. -

A Poultney man has pleaded innocent to a string of sugarhouse break-ins.

Police say last year, Bryan Parker stole several thousand dollars of maple sugar-making equipment in Rutland County.

They arrested the 29-year-old after hearing from a syrup-making supply store in New Hampshire, where Parker allegedly brought some of the stolen items to exchange for newer parts.
