SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
A ski movie-maker is tackling all 18 Vermont ski resorts in 18 days in celebration of Learn to Ski Month.
Jack Quavis brings along a mini camera with him to every stop, exploring the resort to see what they have for skiers. He then posts his daily activity on his interactive blog http://www.skimypov.com/.
He says there is no shortage of ski films, but their work is meant to give the average skier a real look at what each resort is like outside of the parks and trees.
"I hope they get a point of view of an average skier. Myself, I'm not a pro athlete. I describe myself as a lolly-gagger, I just like to float the hill, and that is what is good for me. Maybe some people will see you do not have to be a pro athlete to go skiing, and this is something just about anyone can do," Quavis said.
They are heading north to south. Up next: Cochran's Ski Resort, Mad River Glen and Sugarbush.
