Fmr. trooper accused of faking time sheets in court

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A former Vermont State Police trooper accused of padding his time sheets is expected to change his plea in court this morning.

James Deeghan is expected to withdraw his not-guilty pleas on two felony counts as part of a plea deal.

Police say he stole more than $200,000 by faking time sheets and hundreds of traffic tickets. He is expected to face more charges today.

We will be at the courtroom this morning and have updates as they come in.
