Pace Vermont set to close in March

Pace Vermont is closing -- laying off 80 people and forcing over 100 seniors to find elder care.

Pace Vermont serves 75 people in Rutland and another 60 in Colchester. The organization provides adult day services, transportation, nursing care and more to people eligible for Medicaid. Pace opened in 2007, but said it never made more than it spent.

Pace Vermont closes its doors for good on March 31st.
