Air Guard training in Vt. in January

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The skies in the Burlington area will be a bit louder at night.

The Vermont Air National Guard will be doing night flying starting Tuesday through Thursday, and again next week on Tuesday through Friday.

The Guard says all F-16s are expected to be back on the ground by 9 p.m.

And the Massachusetts Air Guard will also be training over some parts of our region this month. Parts of southern Vermont and New Hampshire could see increased training on January 17, 23, and 30 during the day.

The following communities in Vermont and New Hampshire may experience increased aircraft activity during this exercise: Keene, N.H., Claremont, N.H., Rutland, Vt., Wells, Vt.,  Granville, Vt., Bennington, Vt., Morse State Airport, Vt., Hoosick Falls, Vt., Mount Snow, Vt., West Dover, Vt.,  Manchester, Vt., Dorset, Vt., and Pawlet, Vt.
