Animal rights groups in New Hampshire are protesting a bill that would require them to turn over evidence to the police.
The bill would require anyone who records animal cruelty against livestock to turn the unedited pictures or video in to police within 24 hours.
Supporters say it will help police solve crimes immediately and prevent animal rights groups from keeping evidence to use months later for political purposes.
But the Humane Society of the United States says it will prevent whistleblowers from exposing animal mistreatment.
