It's day two of searching the Grasse River in Massena, looking for a snowmobiler who appears to have fallen through the ice.
Police say the man was ice fishing Monday on the river, but his family called police when he didn't come home. They found a hole in the ice four feet by eight feet and right near it a glove and cell phone.
Crews searched for him until 3 a.m. Tuesday morning and then started up again after daybreak.
"At 1:12 they're at the hole right now searching with the cameras to see if they can find him in immediate location of the hole after that they're going to make a decision, whether to drop guys in to start searching," said Massena Fire Chief Tom Miller.
Officials said the ice is about four inches thick where the snowmobiler fell through.
