SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
A specialty chain grocery store is back before the development review board Tuesday night in South Burlington.
Trader Joe's is seeking preliminary approval for a 12,800 square foot store off Dorset Street. The meeting will be held at 7p.m. at City Hall.
Board members will review the architectural designs, landscaping and parking. The design also calls for a 14,000-thousand square foot mixed use space to be built next to the store. The project requires three neighboring homes to be knocked down. The board has 45 days to deliberate. Trader Joe's said -- at best -- the store would open January 2014.
