BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Wood chips are being used to heat more than 40 schools in Vermont. And under the state energy plan, the governor is calling for more use of renewable energy sources like biomass.
But a plan to heat Goddard College in Plainfield with biomass is getting icy reviews from neighbors. They are concerned about pollution and the impact on the environment. So could this be the turning point for biomass?
