LANCASTER, N.H. -
A fire broke out in New Hampshire's North Country Wednesday night.
It started around 8 p.m. at the Tri-County Community Action Program on Main Street in Lancaster. Apartments are located upstairs.
Main Street was closed for several hours.
Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the Coos County Democrat office building located just two feet from where the fire first broke out.
The extent of the damage is unknown. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
