MOUNT WASHINGTON, N.H. -
A former U.S. Marine is climbing the highest peak in the Northeast, and is doing it on just one leg.
Keith Zeier suffered a traumatic brain injury and lost his left leg in a 2006 bomb blast while serving in Iraq.
The 26-year-old Brooklyn native is climbing Mount Washington to raise money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which helps families of special operation soldiers injured or killed in action.
His climbs, which include Mount Rainier, have raised more than $100,000.
