No investigation into St. Johnsbury Police Dept.

ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. -

The Vermont State Police will not investigate the St. Johnsbury Police Department.

The select board made the request last month, after a resident accused the department of misconduct.

According to the Caledonian-Record, the state police suggested the town hire a private investigator.

The select board has not decided if that is something it will pursue.
