3 people injured in avalanche on Mt. Washington

MOUNT WASHINGTON, N.H. -

Authorities say at least three people have been injured in an avalanche on New Hampshire's White Mountains.

Ambulance crews from several towns responded to the avalanche on Huntington Ravine Thursday evening. The extent of the victims' injuries was not immediately known.

The Mount Washington Avalanche Center issued an avalanche warning earlier in the day.
