BERLIN, Vt. -
Fishermen can now use Berlin Pond, but they can't take as many fish.
It's the first winter anglers will be able to use the pond, after the state Supreme Court overturned a fishing ban last year.
The Department of Fish and Wildlife says anglers can take only take 10 yellow perch daily, down from the previous limit of 50.
They're concerned about overfishing in that population and say the new limit helps protect the fishery while allowing fishers to take some perch home for dinner.
