WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. -
Police in the Upper Valley have arrested a Hartford man accused a robbing a bank in White River Junction.
On Friday police executed a search warrant at the home of 50-year-old John Fenley. Police say they recovered two thousand dollars of stolen money as well as clothing that matched the clothing worn by the bank robber.
Thursday, the People's United Bank in White River was held up. Police say the same day Fenley also tried to rob the Mascoma Savings Bank on Sykes Mountain Avenue. Fenley is being held for lack of 100-thousand dollars bail. Police say an additional arrest is forthcoming.
