Wardsboro man faces child sexual assault charges

WARDSBORO, Vt. -

A Wardsboro man is facing multiple child sexual assault charges.

Police say 37-year-old Daniel Mager had sex about a dozen times with the child last spring and reportedly told her he wanted to marry her once she turned 16.

He has denied having contact with the girl. He is being held without bail following his arrest last week.
