They rolled into Vermont by the millions.
It's nature's way of making snowballs. They're called snow rollers and they started appearing Sunday in many fields around the Green Mountains. The conditions have to be perfect -- and they were for most of the midday. There has to be fresh sticky snow and strong gusts. That was the rolling recipe for this winter treat.
