A New Hampshire man has been arrested, charged with brutally attacking a Vermonter.
Police say Jan. 13, Robert Schneider, 47, of White River Junction, and his sister's boyfriend, Wesley Vorhes, 47, of Claremont, were out drinking with friends and got into an argument after Schneider saw Vorhes with another woman at the bar.
On the way home, police say Vorhes grabbed Schneider by the back of the hair, lifted him up and repeatedly punched him in the face while he was unconscious, resulting in severe facial injuries.
Schneider told police he needs reconstructive surgery, and the attack left him with permanent nerve damage.
Vorhes is facing felony aggravated assault charges.
