COLEBROOK, N.H. (AP) - A 7-year-old Connecticut boy is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries suffered in a snowmobile crash in northern New Hampshire.
New Hampshire Fish and Game officers say Thomas Reeves of Winsted, Conn., suffered head and chest injuries from his accident on a trail in Dix's Grant on Monday. He was operating the snowmobile and failed to negotiate a left curve in the trail.
Officers said he was thrown from the machine before it struck a tree. Reeves was wearing a helmet.
Reeves was taken to Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook.
