RUTLAND, Vt. -
Police are hunting for a drive-by shooter in Rutland who hit dozens of cars, homes and businesses overnight.
Police were flooded with calls Wednesday morning when people awoke to find their damaged vehicles. Police say the shooter hit more than 75 vehicles, 12 homes and at least two businesses. They estimate the damage will be in the tens of thousands of dollars. Police believe the shots came from a pellet gun, fired from a moving car.
Anyone who has damage property or knows about the shooting spree is asked to call Rutland City police.
