Train-truck accident caught on camera

LYNDONVILLE, Vt. -

That accident Tuesday involving a train and a tractor-trailer in Lyndonville was caught on video.

A surveillance camera at nearby M&M Beverage captured the point of impact between the truck and the Vermont Railway freight train. The impact sliced the truck's trailer in two, sending debris flying.

You can see just how close a call it was for the truck driver from Quebec. Amazingly no one was hurt.

The driver told police he was distracted and did not notice the train or the railroad signal lights.
