A couple hundred of the top high school cross country skiers in Vermont braved frosty conditions to compete in a nordic pursuit race at Ethan Allen Firing Ranger in Jericho.
In girls high school hoops, Rice remained undefeated with a 59-41 win at BFA-St. Albans, while defense ruled the night in South Burlington's 26-25 home win over Spaudling.
