Jennifer Horn received the most votes at a party gathering in Bedford. She is the new chairwoman of the state party.
Horn first gained statewide notability several years ago after an unsuccessful run for Congress.
It's a rebuilding time for Republicans in New Hampshire. During the past election Democrats won the state's two congressional seats, the governor's office and a majority in the state's House of Representatives.
