Two arrested for Newport gun threat

NEWPORT, Vt. -

Two Newport men have been arrested for allegedly holding a loaded gun to the heads of two people.

Police arrested 20 year old Mathew White and 24 year old Jared Cross shortly after the incident which took place in a Newport City apartment.

They are charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
