It may be 2013, but today at Mad River Glen, you can pay like it's 1949.
It's the Fayston resort's annual tradition of celebrating its anniversary by rolling back lift ticket prices to their 1949 rate of $3.50. That lasts from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The resort's website says the cover is currently a tad thin and the surface conditions are "variable," but the skiing in many places is surprisingly decent after some weekend grooming.
