The general store in Barnard will soon have new operators.
The Barnard Community Trust announced Tuesday it will lease the Barnard General Store to Joe Minerva and Jillian Bradley. The two currently work for the Richmond Market in Richmond.
The Trust raised $470,000 to help buy the building and reopen the store. The Barnard General Store had operated for 180 years before closing because of financial problems.
