BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -
Extra security at Brattleboro-area schools will remain in place for the rest of the week.
Students arrived Monday to locked exterior doors and increased foot patrols from police, after a possible security threat. The exact nature of the security concerns has not been released, but there was no specific threat against any school.
After consulting with law enforcement, the Windham Southeast Supervisory Union says the precautions are still necessary.
