Dylan Scott

Dylan Scott is a sports reporter and anchor for the Channel 3 News on WCAX-TV. Dylan joined the Channel 3 News team in January 2013. He comes to Burlington from Sioux Falls, S.D., where he spent 1 1/2 years as the weekend sports anchor for KSFY-TV. During that time, he was fortunate enough to interview coaching greats such as Bobby Knight and Bobby Bowden. He also traveled with the SDSU women's basketball team during their 2012 NCAA Tournament run and attended two Minnesota Vikings training camps. Prior to his work in television, he served as the play-by-play announcer for Manhattan College in Riverdale, N.Y.

Originally from Staten Island, N.Y., Dylan graduated from high school in Marlboro, N.J., and received a bachelor's degree in journalism from The Ohio State University. On Saturdays in the fall, the Buckeyes are often his favorite topic of discussion. An avid New York sports fan, Dylan grew up rooting for the Yankees, Giants, Knicks and Rangers but respects the New England sports culture. He thinks there's nothing like a good rivalry!

Dylan is thrilled to cover some of the best local teams and stories in Vermont and hopes you will come along for the ride. If you have a story or question, please email him at DScott@WCAX.com.
