INDIAN LAKE, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say they believe the two people killed in a mobile home fire in the Adirondacks were the couple who lived there.
State police say Thursday that autopsies have tentatively identified the bodies as those 71-year-old Anna Tracey and 76-year-old Roy Tracey.
Troopers say their bodies were found Wednesday morning following a fire at their mobile home in the sparsely populated Hamilton County town of Indian Lake, 80 miles northwest of Albany.
Police say positive identification is pending additional forensic examination. Authorities say the cause of death was smoke inhalation from an accidental fire.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
