PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -
High winds are blowing across our region.
In Plattsburgh, city police had to shut down part of Route 3 on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus Thursday morning, when high winds blew plastic wrap and other debris into the street from the college's new business school building that's under construction on the corner of Draper and Cornelia Streets. Workers rushed to gather up the debris, and the street was reopened after about a half hour.
The high winds also caused a number of power outages around the region.
