Greensboro brewer tops survey

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Vermont is now home to the best brewery in the world -- that's according hundreds of thousands surveyed on RateBeer.com, a popular craft beer review website.

Hill Farmstead Brewery in Greensboro won out as 2013's top brewery -- it was in a category with thousands of other breweries from around the world. Eight of Hill Farmstead's beers were also listed in the top ten new beers.

Lawson's Finest Liquids of Warren also made the top 100 brewers list.

The website has millions of active members who can post reviews and ratings -- 108 of those members, according to the website, are master beer tasters.
