BURLINGTON, Vt. -
There is a third candidate in the race for commander of the Vermont National Guard.
Retired Army Colonel Mike Bullock of Hinesburg is now on the ballot. Since 2008 he's been working as a contractor helping prepare the Vermont Guard for deployments.
Col. Darryl Ducharme of Williston has been in the Army guard for more than 30-years. And Air Guard Brigadier General Steven Cray of Essex Junction is also in the running. Last week our cameras captured Cray trying to win votes from lawmakers. The legislature picks Vermont's next adjutant general via secret ballot on February 21st.
